About Me

CURRENT MISSION.

Always traveling, learning and unlearning. Expanding my horizons and exploring new worlds - i.e. meeting new people.

ABOUT ME

They say I'm always friendly, cheerful and laugh and smile a lot, but I consider myself as introverted and meditative. Except of course at sports, in that case I am reeeally active!

In general, I love sports, all kinds: from team sports like basketball, to individual sports like archery. Currently my favorites are the ones related to balance, like slacklining, unicycling and acrobatics.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what I can and what I should to help others in our schooling time during our trip in planet earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did a lot of couchsurfing a few years ago! Traveling across Europe and in Colombia I hosted a lot of people, I showed them my city and we enjoyed a lot. I really like to meet new people that show you the place where they live, share a couple of hours/days together, eat, drink, play something, and everything with a low budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Everything related to Ghibli Studio, from Totoro to Mononoke Hime. Other movies like "Clannad" are also in my list. I like whatever has a good plot and a message to say. I enjoyed even musicals and watching opera (Die Zauberflöte und Der Ring des Nibelungen, among my favorites)

Books: Years ago when I had more time, I read pretty much everything. Today, I focus on Poetry (Haikus and Rilke). Amongst the books that I like I could mention "Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance", some Sufi works from Rumi and occultism pieces like "The Idyll of the white lotus", "At the Feet of the master", "The voice of the Silence" or "Shamballa" by Roerich

Music: hahahaha my friends say, my music taste is just like a "rainbow vomit" (iiiihhh!!) because in my music lists you could find first Rachmaninoff's vocalisse, followed by Daft Punk, then some pyscho-Trance, afterwards a mantra chant, plus the saharan group Tinariwen, then Lucy Rose, some deep house in the middle or Red Hot Chilli Paper's Snow (in guitar finger style is my favorite)...etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing:
A couple of years ago in my farm in Colombia. At midday, walking through the forest I encountered a wild owl "face to face and eye to eye". He was sleeping in a palm tree. He turned his head 180° to face me and suddenly he opened his eyes and saw me directly into my eyes (now I understand why they say this animals are sages! Gosh! I felt like he was watching into my soul). At the beginning his pupils were very big and deepblack but when he saw me (because of the light) they became very little and the iris of his eyes were brilliant yellow. That was "Love at first sight"
