Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i am pretty astonished about this page has changed since i checked it, about 3 to 4 years ago. Everything is so modern and "smart"? Seems to move away a bit from the traveling issue getting more like a dating/social networking ting? Hopefully the people, which use this site remain the same, as I had only positive Encounters with couch surfing. Askin people on the road if they have a place to sleep should work also, but, yeah, well, sometimes I am shy or frightened, so its a pretty comfortable way findin a free place to stay & gettin in tune with people which know the place.
