About Me

I was born and raised in the hot and sunny south of Spain. When the time came my parents were like, yo Pablo, you've being living with us for the past 18 years it's now time that you give us some privacy. So I did, and I moved to the UK for university. Last year I came to Toronto where I now study Artificial Intelligence (it sounds cooler than what it actually is, tho it's actually pretty cool not gonna lie).

I'm a very sociable person and I really enjoy having real connections with people, whether they're friends I've known for a long time or people I just met. I sometimes tend to go on topics super deep but that's because I like to challenge things that we take for granted. I'm actually pretty chilled normally but I enjoy a party like the true Spaniard I am.

Music is a massive part of my life, I play piano and violin although what I enjoy the most is singing. I'm part of an A Cappella group at University (I actually took part in the UK semifinals of A Cappella last year which was hella cool because it was like the Pitch Perfect competition but in real life). I also have a YouTube channel where I post covers and music related stuff.

I'm very open minded and I always try to see the positive side of things, though I'm also very rational and like to get to the root of things when I don't understand them. Also, despite my 21 years my memory is already in decline. I literally use my phone's notes for everything. I write down every time a friend has some important event so that I remind myself to ask them how it went afterwards lol.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In short I'm here because I love adventures. Jumping around countries and moving places so much in the past years has pushed me out of my confort zone and has shown me how cool it is getting to meet new people from totally different backgrounds. If there's one thing I've learnt from meeting so many randomers is how much you can learn from someone who has a complete different life story to yours.

I've also been sharing houses for the past three years so I'm more than used to living with other people. There's honestly no better thing that waking up to the smell of coffee after a late night of heavy partying and having hangover breakfast with your flatmates.

Music, Movies, and Books

Okay so I have an obsession with TV shows (thank you Netflix, I owe you life and soul). These are a few of the ones that keep me going when uni slaps me in the face with midterms and assignments: How To Get Away With Murder, Black Mirror, Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Scandal, Rupaul's Drag Race and The Get Down.

My music taste is extremely chill. I basically listen to Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes, Passenger, Adele and random acoustic covers on repeat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate 100 potatoes in a week.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Because I literally haven't stopped moving around lately I have so many stories and experiences to share. I'm usually a very cheerful person so if you need some uplifting I'm the one.
Also, don't even get me started with food in Spain. Definitely one of the things I miss the most from Spain is food (and sunny beaches). So it's basically your lucky day because I can cook the yummiest Spanish recipes (my grandma would disagree but she has like beyond legendary cooking skills). I honestly love cooking so I could be your private chef if you feel like.
I could even teach you some Spanish if you wanted to so you can have the full Spanish experience.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Spain, United Kingdom
