About Me
Hello! I'm Pablo.
I'm a half Mexican half Chilean, friendly, social, clean and respectful older brother that is eager to meet people from different countries and make new friends.
I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I've lived in Salamanca, Spain for a few months. I recently graduated from college, I studied Chemical Engineering, and even though I graduated with honors lol, I realized its really not for me. Right now I work at a challenger neobank in Mexico as a business analyst, and I honestly like working there. I get to work a lot from home, so it gives me the chance to even work from another country.
According to the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator quiz, my personality type is ENTP, "The Debater", and honestly I do identify myself with it, I'm an extrovert, I love having good conversations and discussing new ideas.
I love taking pictures! I'm not a professional at all, but I like it!
I’m 200% vaccinated (4 shots total 🤪😳)
I really like going out, I believe nightlife is big part of a place's identity, but I don't usually stay out too late since I like to have the energy and wellmindedness to get to know day-life the next day!
I love board games, Catan, Monopoly, Parchis, you name it, I'm in!
An interesting thing about me is that my mom is a literal ninja, yes, she knows how to throw ninja stars.
Another thing is my friends and I survived and attempted murder, but thats a story I'll save for later.

For some weird reason my pictures aren’t showing, so here’s my instagram account

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people from all over the world. I've recently graduated from college and this is an amazing way for me to get to know the world in my youth without spending all my paycheck on a hotel, plus I genuinely think its the best way to actually know a new place, getting to know the locals, making new friends and getting real advice from real people.
I still live with my dad (pretty normal in Mexico, specially CDMX), so it's kinda hard for me to host at the moment since a lot of conditions need to happen for me to be available, but I sure want to give back everything and more of what this community gives me, it sure is in my short term plans to get my own place, I just need to save a bit more.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music artists are: The Neighborhood, Peach Tree Rascals, The Marias, Miley Cyrus, Frank Ocean, Omar Apollo, Daniella Spalla. I'm not really a stan so I don't know too much about them tho.
My favorite movies are: Gone Girl (Love this movie, perhaps the only movie I can watch multiple times), Call Me By Your Name (I've never cried that much before lol)and Nosotros Los Nobles (Mexican movie, very funny)
Favorite Books: I recently read "The Sirens of Titan", and I haven't stopped thinking about it, but im super basic with books so maybe... hunger games?... lol, I'm not the most cultured when it comes to authors and artists and movies... we all have a weakness... but I love to learn!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was the first openly gay High School President, in a Catholic high school, I actually really hadn't thought about it until now and I'm so proud of myself because it was hard for a bit, but everything ended up amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you how to do dervitatives in calculus, but I doubt you'd like that hahaha!
If you don't already know, maybe I could teach you how to whistle, or how to make an "ocarina (?)" with your hands... lol... I don't really know, im struggling a bit with this.
I love sharing conversations, I like getting into the deep stuff so if you’re into it, I’m all in!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share some Mexican candy, some sweet... some spicy!
Of course I would pay for my expenses (idk if that should be obvious)
And also I would like to share some time, and take them out for lunch or dinner
