I am originally from Ecuador, I grew up there and left the country to do my undergrad in Honduras. I was there for about 4 years and I love the country. They have the most amazing caribbean islands you can imagine. After finishing, I worked for about a year in India and then came to the US for grad school.

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. (food and nutrition). My project is based in Kenya so I get to travel every now and then. I also do some pro-bono consulting on the side =) I am pretty laid back, love to travel and read. I love cooking and have friends over for dinner. Also camping and hiking, however with school I barely have time for it.
