I'm really an easy-going person, very open-minded and always up for anything. I love to have interesting conversations and I always enjoy a good laugh. I really like meeting new people and making new friends and I think that is what Couchsurfing is all about.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When my schedule permits, I love to host Surfers from anywhere. Otherwise, it's also nice to go for a drink or something and visit some places.
I really like to couchsurf as well!! :P

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed more than I hosted since I became a member.

When I went on a trip in Southeast Asia, I surfed at three different places in Vietnam for a total of 2 weeks.

I hosted someone from France, from western Canada and some friends from my province, Québec.

I'm soon leaving for a 6 months trip in South America, but when I get back, I can't wait to host surfers in my new apartment!

Interesses

I like meeting with people of different cultures than mine (of course, this doesn't mean that I don't like meeting people of my culture. not at all! haha). I fully appreciate the cultures in all their aspects : languages, arts, architecture, history, religions, etc. I want to become a translator, and that is why I want to travel all around the world and learn new languages and practice the ones I already know ; immersion is the best way to learn :D . I like pretty much all artforms (music, photography, literature, cinema, theater, architecture, dance, etc.) and enjoy having a good time with friends.

Music: I like a lot of different arists and bands of many different styles. Example: Primus, Beastie Boys, Arcade Fire, Daft Punk, Jean Leloup, Pink FLoyd, Justice, Manu Chao, Patrick Watson, etc.

Sports: Hockey, Football(as in soccer), Tennis, Aki, etc.

Movies: Snatch, Requiem for a Dream, Donnie Darko, Seven, Matrix I, Pulp Fiction, Les Visiteurs, Scarface,
Pi, Inland Empire, Dazed and Confused, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, etc.

Literature: Boris Vian, J.R.R. Tolkien, George Orwell, Philip K. Dick, Félix Leclerc, etc.

It's hard to say...

But right now, the first thing that came up was during the trek to the Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, when we were almost at the Base Camp (around 5200m), I saw, in about two hours, like 4 live avalanches on the Mountains surrounding us!! Intense!

I can teach some stuff in French, English and perhaps even Spanish ; maybe teach you a thing or two on the bass...probably other things that I can't think of right now...lol
