I want to shift the focus of education, from a confined view of learning in which the same regimented information is delivered to the youth population, to a wider approach, in which education is all about engaging with the world and learning through experience.

I'm passionate about life, like to be an example for other people and challenge myself each time.

I consider myself a Storyteller (I have started 5 different businesses, one is still there, but I lost all my stocks in that company, a long story). However, I like to find new ways to educate people.
I was born in Colombia, but I consider myself a global citizen, keeping the magic realism.

As Kant said: 'The child who is born wild, must be raised to become cultural by disciplining the penchant for evil and cultivating the disposition for good'.

I like to hang up with good people!
And I like to say to everyone that they should enjoy their freedom, that is why I promote peace and liberty!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was a member of IEEE and AIESEC, I started to host people at the place I was living (Not mine). Let me tell you a funny story:
One night , at my aunt's house, where I was living, some friends call me, they were 8 people from Peru, and the logistics of the event left them without hotel. So i decided to allow them to pass the night in some coaches without asking for permission.
The great thing is that my aunt in the next day, didn't pull me out of the house.

When I lived in Colombia many people from Nigeria, Russia, Mexico and US stayed at my home.
Great experiences learning the culture, and offering them a place to stay.

I love many things, im a geek!
I love dancing movies, from Step Up to Step up 3, I like to going out to dance (Im a good salsa dancer) and share with different people.
I love to give conferences and make special educational training sessions both for kids and for academics.
I really love to travel.

The Lord of the Rings, 100 years of solitude, all the books from Balzac, Singularity - Kurzweil.
Also libertarian books from F.A Hayek.
