ABOUT ME

I'm spontanous / a chaotic planner. Some people call me crazy, but actually, most things I start end well, so I'm not sure about this :)
I'm sociable, open-minded, communicative and I'm pretty always in a good mood - and I love laughing, even if it's just for the sake of it!
I love to discover new stuff, meet new people, get to know new places... Whatever you have to show or to tell me, I will love to get to know it! I'm interested in pretty everything there is!

PHILOSOPHY

I am a pacifist, and this is one reason why I'm a member of couchsurfing. I truly believe that the first step to peace is to to not just accept our differences, but to learn how to appreciate and love them.
We are all humans in one world. If we work together, many things will become much easier. And to work together, we must know each other.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is a very welcome opportunity to meet people while travelling, with or without staying at their place. I've made some wonderful friends this way!

Due to my kind of always messy living situation I haven't been able to host as much as I wanted to, but I hope that this will change if at some point I settle down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a lot in Ecuador and the USA, and was at some point able to host some people because I actually had my own place. Which was however a shortlived experience. Now I'm back to surfing.

mountaineering!!!
I really love the mountains, I love skiing, climbing, just walking peacefully, alpinism... everything!

music
Listening to it, but also singing, dancing (although I suck at it)... A really important part of my life!

books
I don't know what I'd do without a good book around... Which is also why my luggage is always heavy.

meeting people
I'm kind of a sociable person. I need talks with nice people to feel happy, and I love meeting new folks and listening to what they have to say (and well, I won't be quiet either...)

Music: so many different things. Literally almost everything. A lot of funky, bluesy, swingy things, but also completely different styles.

Movies: I love movies, and again, I like a lot of very different movies... This list would be endless.

books: and this list would be even more endless.

Generally I like discovering new music, films and books while being abroad :)

There are so many memorable events that come to my mind... but what always strikes me as particularly fascinating is that moment when you bump into a complete stranger somewhere, and you instantly connect and have a wonderful conversation.

I can teach you a lot about Switzerland - cultural stuff, but also politics, history, music, nature and geography - whatever you're interested in. And I can also tell you about the experiences I've had in the countries I've visited so far. I also like cooking so I could cook for you. Or knit you some gloves :)
