Hey i´m Paco

I grew up in this authentic place called "Cap ferret" - 45min from Bordeaux - 2 steps from the ocean where people can find simplicity, peace, nature .. (cf pixs) - I live currently between Bordeaux and San Sebastian (Spain - Basque country) where my girlfriend works.

Nature, ocean take a big part of my life

i´m a certified Surf Instructor from the ISA (international Surfing Association) and i´ve worked overseas for the last 5 years and still collaborating with companies in the Surf Industry.

6 Years ago was my first travel in Portugal, arrived in Lisbon for 3 days and ended up staying 15 days.. then i rented a car, chuck my surfboard and sleeping bag at the back for 15 days roadtrip till Algarve in search of epic waves. Unfortunately - it was the end of September and swell didn´t show up but i had fun!

Since 5 years right now my life resume it self to this .. Traveling - Surfing - Discovering - Connecting

Why Lisbon today ? for the same reasons mentioned above more getting closer to my close from France - I believe Lisbon will an intersting mix lifstyle between vibrant city and strong surf culture - lets try!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Spent 8 years while my student life in my apartment in Bordeaux sharing and welcoming incredible others people - friend -student - workers from around the world. It was such a memorable experience.

The last 5 years being on the road across the world has confirmed the feeling that people want and need to connect and share between eachothers.

Trying Lisboa´s lifestyle is obvioulsy connecting with locals - learning about them - the city - the country and his culture - it is according my point of view the best way to make someone happy in his new experience of life and contributing to the well being of our everyday life society.
