Hello everyone!
My name's Francisco, but in Spain everbody calls me Paco, an abbreviation wich I would tell you its meaning if you are interested. I'm from Cabra, a small city between Córdoba and Málaga, and if you know spanish you are probably laughting at this... yes, the translation of Cabra would probably be something like Goat city, it's strange but anyway... don't worry, I'm a human hahaha

Currently I'm studying Aerospace Engineering in the University of Seville, but doing an Erasmus at Politecnico di Milano, a perfect opportunity to travel around Europe and, of course, to meet new people.

As I have said, I will be an engineer and that's because I like maths and physics of course, but I love to aply them to the reality, I get really happy when I understand not only the things that are happening but why are they happening, that's the key for me.

For me, music is sooo important. I started playing the cello when I was 8, since then, music is a necesary part of my life. I also have three guitars and I'm trying to learn piano too. I listen to any type of genre and I appreciate when people tell me to listen to an artist or a song they like.

Whatelse could I say about me without writting the Bible?... I enjoy practising sports (specially football), I have played lots of videogames in my childhood and I consider myself a sociable and reliable guy who loves to learn any kind of new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered Couchsurfing searching for new experiences with 18 years old. I really feel adventurous and I want to (need to) go around other countries to discover new culture, sites and, of course, people. That's the reason why I'm here, to discover places not only as a tourist but also as a guest of a local who can share me things and with whom I can discuss and keep in touch even when I leave his/her city.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I have said, I love music! from classical to electro music, traveling through other genres like rock, jazz, indie... some I like more than others, but I appreciate everyone of them.

I am a film fan too, especially of these kind of movies that make you think to understand the plot and teach you something at the end. Some of them are Memento, Shutter Island, Inception, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Black Swan... I recomend you to see all of them if you haven't done. But I'm not only a psychological film lover, I also like others movies like Lord of the Rings and, of course, Star Wars!

I lately have just started to read books, an undiscovered hobby for me until a year ago. I read some classics stories that descrives in some way the actual reality: "1984" from Orwell, "Brave New World" from Huxley or "Blindness" from Saramago, one of my favourites... some others pessimistic and philosofical books like "Ham on Rye" from Bukowski, "Steppenwolf" from Hesse or "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" whose author is Kundera.

I really like to talk about the different points of view the people have about any song, any film or any book if I have listen, watch or read it; and if not I would be glad to recieve suggestions of course!
