ABOUT ME

I would say I'm a very adventurous person! I love the outdoors, spending time out on open water or in the mountains doing long routes up exposed rock faces. Breathing under water, stumbling down valleys or rolling down desert or beach dunes. I also enjoy expanding my knowledge and mind. I spend most of my time learning and reading about new things, visiting galleries, museums and wondering around markets or on the fretboard of my guitar.

life should be easy if we don't become too greedy.. appreciate what you have, be humble and take advantage of your potential and opportunities. Never be afraid to question or share knowledge.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still a baby to the project and have not yet experienced couch surfing, but would love to be an ambassador and spread the knowledge and beauty of africa to more people.. too many people have the wrong image, and I want to help change that one person at a time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

besides with friends, I've never tried with strangers! :( Though i'm excited to begin!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travelled into isolated places in Africa from deserts to the open waters of the Indian ocean... The wild animals of africa and the majestic creatures of the sea. Running out of wishes after seeing a swarm of shooting stars in the middle of the ocean. While the thought leaves me at a loss for words, it's enough to make the hairs on my back stand...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a range of both useful and useless things such as cooking something new or tying a rope into a monkey's fist.

I think the greatest thing I have to share with the global community however is to introduce people to the true spirit of what Africa is besides all the photos of poor starving people with flies on their faces... Just share my opinions thoughts and views on the world and my interests... Sailing, rock climbing, scuba, guitar...

I would like to learn about how people live throughout the world enjoy and experience: food, laughter, love and belief.
