Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had my very first couch surfing experience/"outing" in Australia where I met Jester and a few other couch surfers to visit the sand dunes for sand boarding, and it was awesome. I have couch surfed in a few countries in Europe during my stay in the UK, they always turn out to be really interesting and authentic experiences. It is always good to see and explore a place from the eyes of a local, perhaps that's what traveling is all about. I also met Corrado, who is the best CS host anyone can ever have.

Interests

I love outdoorsy sports, especially water sports. And of course, travelling too. Love solo travels and how it puts me in a better position to be immersed in a different culture. Travels always inspires me. I believe that it's "not always about the place, but about the people". Love exploring places in the least touristy way possible. The more off the beaten track, the better I like it ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have.. tried jumping into the river from a tree that's home to bees and red ants in Thailand, swam with whale sharks in the Phillipines, ran hysterically out of the waters after mistaking a dolphin for a shark in Australia.
