ABOUT ME

a unifying mix of oxymorons, dichotomies, duplicities, paradoxes. a.k.a. the flying bottle, discreet damsel in d-elight; grew up exposed to different cultures and people through membership in an international organization and loved it. soul diver girl. born vegetarian. primarily an INFP.

some random thoughts/quirks (i'm/i/also):
-would rather be angsty than 'cool' if i had to be a little too much of either
-have been thinking it would be nice to be sharing dark, twisted things about ourselves like we do for small talk and not get freaked out by them.
-accepted that my name, diet and how young or tiny i look may seem to be a conversation degenerative till i get old; am tempted to say different stories to everyone for the fun of it
-get weak (towards paralyzing, not the sexy kind) around really girly girly women too composed or feminine
-thrive in the abnormal, different, unusual, eccentric sometimes for the sake of it, more often hopefully for individualistic reasons
-don't enjoy politics, gossip, pettiness (except as humor and not that am just so high minded all the time) or too much intellectualism
-have sort of anti-navigational skills
-have a sensitive, brooding, maybe psychologically-labeled private side known only to my closest friends
-new-agey, spaced-out, rational, spiritual in my own way and yet can also be a hypocrite (o:

PHILOSOPHY

where to start. it's forever unfolding and always the same; the truth (is) always paradoxical. mostly just a fan of philosophies that can stand the test of time, space and person--somewhere around the universalist, neo-humanist, possibly like Dr. Seuss who tells us to "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Used to be spreading the love in Manila; the local community has grown ever since, which was great, but it became harder to get to know everyone the same. In New Zealand, I've been less active and use CS now only when traveling over to a new place and looking to meet some locals.

simple things from living with aeta tribes in their huts/home in the mountains without bathrooms, water or electricity for 4days 3nights; or scary amazing moments of survival from earthquakes to a heart operation and technically dying, to just awfully blissful meditation... and then it's all just about perspective..

teach: playing the drums, yoga before it was 'cool', intermediate astrology, numerology, going veg, Tagalog, free software or IT for personal, business/non-profit use, outsourcing in the Phils.

learn: anything you're passionate about. tai-chi and martial arts classes ,oh, and i do want to learn to play the bass guitar and the synthesizer or make electronic music.

share: Desire everything, need nothing.
