Overview
About Me
I am a creative chameleon and love to dabble in music, art, film, literature, theatre, dance and poetry. I am a passionate story-teller (hence I decided to study branding, philosophy and writing). I love nature and am always keen for an adventure! I have been working for an art gallery on board cruise ships for the last year and a half.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I LOVE meeting new people and immersing myself in local cultures, and this seems like the perfect place to do so. I'd much rather stay with someone local than by myself in a hotel or AirBNB.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All types of Jazz, Indie, Blues, Alternative, Old school Rock-n-Roll (Led Zeppelin forever), Folk, Hiphop, New Wave, LoFi, Rap, RnB (always listening to Frank Ocean)
Movies: THIS IS SO HARD TO CHOOSE, I LOVE FILM. Any movie directed by Wes Anderson (Royal Tenenbaums, Aquatic Life of Steve Zissou, Grand Budapest Hotel), Boyhood, Place Beyond The Pines, Harry Potter (always)... Anything with Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko, Nightcrawler etc).
Books: "God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy, "New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle, "The Hundred Year Old Man Who Jumped Out The Window And Ran Away" by Jonas Johnsson and many many many more. Anything by Charles Bukowski.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped write, produce and perform a small play at a local theatre, based on the experiences of women in the 21st Century, dealing with issues of race, social equity and LGBTQ rights. We received amazing feedback, and I left feeling like we had made a difference in some people's lives.
I also have a lot of amazing travel stories, but I'll save those for when we meet!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have such wide and varied interests, so I am also always keen to exchange knowledge and both teach and learn about something new and engage in different activities.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all, I LOVE to cook, and I know a lot of really great, tasty and wholesome vegetarian meals.
I am a spiritual and reflective person, so I love to meditate and practice gratitude and self-awareness - I can bring a very grounding energy and some mindful practices into your day-to-day life.
I am also passionate about personal development, wellbeing and authentic living, and I am a certified Recovery and Life Coach. I am more than happy to offer sessions to help you realign your passions, purpose and sense of self.
I also have a lot of experience in the arts and creative fields, and a deep passion for it, so I am happy to do creative sessions and collaborate on projects (whether it be poetry, photography, film etc).
I am generally a positive, outgoing, adventurous and fun person to be around, so I'd like to think I can bring some laughter and smiles into your home for a little while.
