About Me

I hate writing these things, but I suppose it's necessary...
I've been described as an extrovert. People give me energy. They fascinate me to no end.
I can (and probably will) talk your ear off if prompted by the right subject. (Movies, music, history, books, food...)
I have a diverse array of nerdy interests, and love to learn new things.
I love exploring and adventuring around a new city/town, but also appreciate my downtime/quiet time.
In my spare time I enjoy eating, reading, listening to podcasts/music, watching TV/movies, cross-stitching, and writing in my journal/updating my blog.
I love animals and encourage everyone to have one. Cats, dogs, iguanas, bring it on.
Worked in the film industry for 4 years, then took off to Germany for a year. Now I'm back home and working for the library.
If you don't have a small sense of who I am by now, we probably shouldn't hang out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Good lord, does anyone only have one genre or artist they listen to? I certainly can't choose. I listen to everything (minus some country and death metal), but my tastes tend to lean towards acoustic singer/songwriter types.

Movies: Again, picking just one is impossible. I have favourites that I've adored since childhood, and some iconic newer releases that I cherish. I usually just binge watch TV shows on Netflix now anyways.

Books: Okay, this one is a little easier. I love a good book no matter the genre. But I definitely lean towards fantasy and historical fiction. I love the Harry Potter series, and I think everyone should read "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. "Sarum" by Edward Rutherford is also amazing.
