I grew up in central California and recently finished university in Santa Cruz, CA, a city a bit south of San Francisco. I flew to Buenos Aires last August to live for 3 months and study Spanish, then traveled through Peru, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay with a friend for the following 6 months. I am now back in CA to see my family before heading to Colombia. I am so excited to keep working on my Spanish, learning languages has always been a dream of mine that is finally coming true. I love South America and the culture I've been experiencing there: music, dance, football, and food! I can't wait to get back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am about to begin traveling in Colombia and can't wait to be learning Spanish, dancing Salsa, and meeting new people. Ultimately my goal is to live in a new place but first I have to find work in a city that feels right. I would love to experience new places with a local guide and friend, exchange culture and language and create connections for life! I love the outdoors, nightlife, music and dancing, animals, art, and I am easy to live with and get along with. I'm tidy and respectful and I love doing dishes. I would be so grateful to be welcomed into your home for a short time while searching for my new community.
