Not always great at talking about myself but here it goes!

I'm from the United States and am backpacking through Europe for around 6 months! I've also traveled through Southeast Asia for 5 months with my mom, a while back.

I'm originally from Lincoln, Nebraska but have spent the last 5 years in New Orleans, Louisiana. In New Orleans I managed a designer consignment store, and handled online sales as well as all social media. After my trip I plan on going back to school to be an English Teacher, in Vancouver, WA, but will be longing for Nola!

While living in the states I'm a vegan. Although whilst traveling I've decided to make it easy on myself and eat as a vegetarian, that cheats occasionally to try local dishes.

I would like to meet new people as well as stay economically while traveling.

Interests

My main hobbies are reading, writing, traveling, and drinking coffee, if that can be considered a hobby. I like going for walks, hiking, and if I get the chance ice skating. I also love taking city and nature photos on my Canon EOS Rebel. I'm also a huge cat lady but love all animals!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading novels. Right now I'm reading any books that are readily available. My favorite authors are Richard Wright and Haruki Murakami.

As for movies, I'm a sucker for a rom com, but I do enjoy more serious films as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far while traveling I've been pet/house sitting through the website Trusted Housesitters. I've met so many families, dogs, cats, even a crow, throughout my travels in Europe.
