ABOUT ME

Heya everyone! I caught the traveling bug many summers ago when I visited Costa Rica. Being away from home is now an adventure I look forward to when I can escape the work grind! My out door hobbies include hiking, running events, and soaking up the Las Vegas sun. I love live theatre, tasty or bizarre food, astronomy, and expanding my mind by learning whatever interests me. I love a great laugh and to make others smile.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to grow up to be a good person. At age 21, I'm lucky enough to be a young adult in the land of opportunity, so I'm trying to make the most of it. I want to see the world and be a positive participant within it. I'm just trying to avoid being a neurotic, self-involved American I guess. haha

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed twice and thought it was awesome. Traveling has become a favorite pass-time. Some times you just need a break from the demands of your life to see new places and meet fantastic people.

Interests

I am very education oriented and find pleasure in the things that I learn. I am inquisitive about the world, so I let my curiosity shape some of my life's ambitions. I enjoy cooking, baking, and eating, but I try to balance that out by being a gym worshipper! Oh, and I'm all about 5k running events!

Music, Movies, and Books

Sit me down in front of a good documentary and I'm good to go! I'm also a total nerd for Dr. Who and How I Met Your Mother.

The Black Keys, Ben Folds, most country music (weirdo right?) and basically anything I can sing or dance to.

I adore the movies Forest Gump and Disney's Toy Story trilogy.

I bow down to the authors Chuck Palahniuk and Malcolm Gladwell.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If we meet, ask me about the time I got lost during a rain storm at night on top of a mountain in the jungle's of Costa Rica (and here's the kicker) on my 21st birthday. THAT was an experience I'll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want a crash course on stars, galaxies, planets and how all the other AMAZING stuff in the cosmos came to be, I could open your eyes to the wonders of the universe. I would love to learn from a member of the Field of Cognitive Therapy since that's my career. And let's just share life stories and good humor!
