I am currently teaching with an EP in Thailand and traveling in my free time doing research for a non-profit and helping in every possible way I can to make the world a better place. I LOVE getting dirty working in orphanages, refugee camps, and learning about history and culture

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for places to stay during my research, I have a couch, but live with a roommate and her small child, so no strangers can stay...sorry :-(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First let me say, a lot of you have been rude in responding to requests simply because I don't have a lot of reviews. But I'm NEW! How am I supposed to have reviews if I have little to no experience! Remember when you were new to CS? You didn't have any reviews either, but some nice person gave you a chance. That being said, I have couch surfed twice before, once in Phnon Pehn and once in Bangkok. Bangkok's experience was AMAZING and Phnom Pehn, let's say I was thankful to have a friend with me :-)

I played with Tigers in Chiang Mai, I got lost in a mall in Bangkok (seriously 3 hours, 2 people, no exit) met some awesome taxi drivers in Malaysia, picked strawberries in a volcano in the Philippines. Was nearly kidnapped in Mexico, went in a yellow submarine exploring WWII relics on the pacific island of Saipan, nearly fell off an elephant after a 4 hour up mountain death march to visit some hill tribes, was offered a baby for 200baht in Burma, the list goes on and on

I am a craftster, I sew, cook, bead, make jewelry, crotchet, the works. I can play the piano, and some guitar. I can share all of these things :-)
