My favorites include nearly anything by David Sedaris, Catcher in the Rye, East of Eden, Fahrenheit 451, and To Kill a Mocking Bird. Most recently, I have read The Wind Up Bird Chronicle and A Heart Breaking Work of Staggering Genius. I have the naughty habit of buying books that I want to read before I have the time to read them...the pile continues to grow and I am always open for suggestions.

I love movies although I rarely get out to see them (I'm personally more of a "stay-in" kind of girl). If you were to ask me my top ten favorite movies, it would be impossible for me to name them, but ones that I would be likely to name are Roman Holiday, Casablanca, American Beauty, Amelie, The Royal Tenenbaums, Harold and Maude, The Big Lebowski, Manhattan.

Like movies, I have too many to name. My personal fall-backs include Beirut, Wilco, Andrew Bird, Nina Simone, Neutral Milk Hotel, Tom Waits, Simon and Garfunkel, and Otis Redding.
