I am a painter with a 18year old daughter

PHILOSOPHY

Speak no evil. See the beauty. Appreciate life and all the gifts which sometimes do not look like gifts. Remember the gifts. Appreciate. Be positive. Play. Work. Ideally make your work your play. Make your play your work. Do not complain but occasionally commiserate. Listen. Give. Be amazed. Be open. Love.
Being on earth seems to me no small miracle.
Gratitude can fix many an attitude. That's easy to say of course and if you are down, embrace your emotions as best you can in order to let them go after a while.
This may be pop psychology not at its finest but I am scrambling here to express my outlook.
Have I done it? I do not know but I would say I get a least a passing grade for effort.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not hosted but had a wonderful host in Paris with Alexandra and currently looking to be hosted in Milan, Lake Como and other parts of northern Italy. Venezia! If you live in Italia, and you'd like a visitor, I can do a little ink drawing for you if you'd like. I will be part of the time with my adult daughter but mostly on my own. Bologna march 7,8 maybe 9 I can also lead us in a little yoga sesh if you would like.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I wish to host at our home but we have a full house right now with my brother living with us.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Viewing a star-filled sky with seals barking below at the foot of the cliffs at Big Sur, listening to soulful music in Cuba and dancing. Driving north in Spain and seeing red rocky hills that I had recently seen in a dream. Done some large paintings and gotten to share them through exhibits. Got certified as a yoga instructor recently.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I suppose I could teach English and drawing and painting and Yoga
I also know how to make Kombucha and finally have been able to stop myself from making it. It was taking over two fridges and my life!
I love to learn, especially languages and new ways to perceive life. I'm learning to listen and not offer my opinion! That was a tough one! Have not quite mastered that one.
