ABOUT ME

I'm a mother of three very creative, successful and interesting adult children who reside in Manhattan,NY, Chicago,IL and Joplin, MO.

Several years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to be with my mother at the end of her life. This led me to my present home in San Francisco. Coming from a small town, it seems I walk around the city with my mouth wide open in amazement!

I would love to share the city with some couch surfers.

Rules are easy:
No smoking
No out of control drinking or drugs.
Pick up after yourself
I would be happy to give you a tour by car of this beautiful city.

I absolutely, positively, love hosting couch surfers! I may get enough nerve to actually couch surf here in CA:)

I'm trying not to let my age detour me from checking this out and hope a mother/grandmother my age is welcome to participate in this opportunity.

My interest are many.

I'm an entrepreneur at heart and love to hear about new business ideas! I've designed a handmade gift line for five years that was sold in eleven major markets in the United States, I created River Rock Santas and painted them for five years as I healed from sexual abuse, and I co-owned a 17,000 square foot sports bar in Joplin, MO. It seems my attention span is five years.

I've also served on two non profit boards that addressed family violence and sexual abuse.

At present I'm working on a children's book and learning to watercolor.

I love art, the ocean, books, paints, crafts, reading, writing, movies, theater, live entertainment. flea markets, antiques, vintage clothing, peace sign, decorating, working with abused children. Just about anything!

Most dear to my heart are my four grandchildren. But, I promise I won't bore you with the details.:)

My family lives in MO, NYC, and Chicago, IL, so facetime is my friend.

I like documentaries, Ted Talks, nature shows, chick flicks, and comedies. It's easier for me to name my dislikes: I don't like violence, loud shooting and action movies.

I listen to top 40, Indie music, classical, 80's, etc. The only music I don't appreciate is hard rock.
