ABOUT ME

I love to hike, bike, swim, garden, cook, photograph, craft, sing, and play ukulele. I am an avid reader, and I love to talk all about life, history, and literature. I love people--making tea and talking for hours is a frequent event in my apartment. I have seen many places in the world and the US, but I want to see many more. I am in college, studying English education and history.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment, I host when I can. I've surfed a little bit in Germany, but I look forward to more surfing experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a number of people and surfed with a few, and every single person has been lovely. There have been great conversations, amazing meals, and friendly faces. I've never had a bad experience!

Intereses

All sorts of things! If I have not tried something, I am probably very eager to try it out, as long as it doesn't involve falling from huge heights :) Learning new languages is a hobby, so if you speak other languages, we can definitely chat! I like seeing the world through the lens of my Canon AE-1 (my trusty film camera), and I take it on all my travels. I enjoy sharing time and music with others.

Since I'm a student in history and literature, I love talking about all things related to those topics. However, I have many interests, including science, psychology, current events, gender studies, and so many more things. I am fascinated by other cultures, religions, and languages, and I want to soak up all that knowledge like a sponge.

Música, películas y libros

I am surrounded by books--literally surrounded! My room is more books than anything else--but I want to read more. Music is lovely when shared. I don't have a lot of time to watch movies, but I appreciate well-made ones.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I have been to four continents and have loved my experiences in each. I have danced in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge, been awed by the Terra Cotta Warriors, and have ridden multiple camels in the Arabian desert. Also, I've sunk up to my hips in the Yellow River!
