ABOUT ME

Hi there!

Let me introduce myself. I am Pierre, a 22 years old French easygoing guy. I have studied English at the University of Strasbourg, and I am currently teaching French as a Foreign Language Assistant in Edinburgh.

I am a smiling, patient and conscientious person. I consider myself sociable; I pay attention to others. I am calm, tidy, and organised. I am a non-smoker.

During my leisure time I would generally go to the cinema once per week. I am fond of dramas (my favourite one is Jane Campion's Bright Star) and horror films. I like sports (running, swimming, playing tennis). My favourite writers are John Keats and Edgar Poe. I am fond of music; I like going to concerts (I went to see CocoRosie (twice), Lana Del Rey, Placebo and many others). I am also interested in photography. I really like the works of David Armstrong, William Eggleston, Diane Arbus and Wolfgang Tillmans. I have notably signed up for photography classes (this year) to gain some theoretical and practical insight, but also, to develop my own creativity. I am currently exhibiting my work in Strasbourg with the other students.

I will be travelling in London with my friend—Andrea— who is a Colombian Foreign Language Assistant with me in Edinburgh.

Books:
I am fond of John Keats's poems-especially his sonnets such as 'When I Have Fears that I may cease to be' and his famous ballad 'La Belle Dame sans Merci'. I also really like Edgar Allan Poe's works (especially 'the Raven').
