I am Pallavi, I am in final year of my graduation in delhi university.
Travel, trekking and music are the things that interest me the most.
I have trekked in himalayas and sahyadri hills.
I love to know about history, culture, tradition of any place I am visiting, I also love to interact with locals to know about the life in that place better. I look forward to having new experiences in life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I got to know about couchsurfing from friends from different parts of world, who I met in a meditation course and also hosted them at my home. It was so wonderful to talk about different cultures, history, politics, economy and various other things.
why I joined-
To find good travel mates, meet people around the world and exchange ideas.

To live at someone's house and understand the local culture and taste some home made food .

Lastly, by hosting others show them good nature, offer them good food and make memories that lasts forever.

The world that we live in so beautiful and I want to see it.The people that we meet may appear to be very different from surface, but inherently all of us are very similar. I want to meet new people, know about their traditions and cultures.

音乐、电影和书籍

music- I listen to a lot of instrumental music. music for me has no lanuage barrier, I listen to songs of different languages. In instruments, string instuments appeal to me the most. I also sing and can whistle mostly bollywood songs.

movies- I like to see thrillers, shutter island gone girl, drishyam, kahani, others- blue valentine, genius, Manchester by the sea

tv series- sherlock holmes, the good wife, suits, black mirror

books- freakonomics, poor economics, value of everything, capital in the 21st century etc.
The others which I liked were-
the palace of illusions, kite runner, a thousand splendid suns, inferno, unbearable lightness of being, the god of small things, truth love and a little malice, wuthering heights, jane eyre, kane and abel, tuesdays with morrie, when breath becomes air, celestial bodies, mystic's musings, sapiens, a ladder to the sky etc

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have trekked and camped in himalayas, paraglided in bir billing and jaisalmer, snorkelling in andaman and nicobar islands, and waterfall rapelling in maharashtra.

I can teach you how to make masala tea, and other simple indian dishes, ride a bike.

I can share my experiences of travelling( though I have just begun) and would want to know yours,help with any household chores- cooking, cleaning etc.
