Hi everyone! I'm a tour guide since 2011, so in the past 8 years I had the chance to travel more than 50 countries all over the world. I was lucky enough to climb mountains in the Himalayas, to ride my motorbike in Indonesia for weeks, to dive on the most amazing underwater world in Raja Ampat, to survive sleeping in a cave in Papua New Guinea, to ride a horse in Kyrgyzstan, or just to enjoy the endless beauty of this planet. However, I wouldn't have enjoyed the amazing nature without the amazing people. Everything I learned through travelling made me a better person somehow, but also after so many years of seeing the cruel reality, it couldn't be more obvious, we are on the best path to destroy the Earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first heard about CS, I though this is a great opportunity to save my pennies on accommodation. After I was hosted for the first time, I quickly realized that this whole thing about something else. I barely spoke any English that time, I didn't know so many things about different cultures and local customs. Couchsurfing has definitely changed my life in many ways since 2008. I met people whom are still my good friends, and will never forget those moments sharing with other couchsurfers.

Interests

Half of my life I was a sport addict, and this will never change I guess. Nowadays I'm really into high altitude and long distance trekking, photography and sustainable traveling. We are trying to adopt zero waste life as well, but it's gonna be a tough road ahead.
