I'm Paloma, I'm 22 years old and I come from Chile. I grew up in a multicultural family of Chilean and German parents. I am currently traveling in Europe for a couple of months, before starting my studies in Germany. I love to travel, to know cultures, places and new people. I am a kitesurfer and I quite like outdoor sports, as well as photography and art.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

The reasons why I joined Couchsurfing are mainly two. I would like to know the cities and those who live in them from within, not as tourists, but with those who live in them, in addition to the places they visit. On the other hand, I feel that meeting new people and cultures fills you as a person and I would love to know more about the cultures of the world and if possible, make new friends. Also, I must admit, that being a student, I have a reduced budget for my trip, which I prefer to spend on getting to know, learn and get lost in the cities I visit.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Something incredible that I have done, is this first trip alone in Europe, without plans or itinerary. Other things that would fit in this category I think they are bungee jumping, travel Argentina and Uruguay by car (10.000 km in 3 weeks), learn to kitesurf at 10 years old and many roadtrips through Chile.

Much of my philosophy of life is based on creativity and the way of seeing the world through it, therefore I think I can deliver part of this vision and ways to enhance creativity.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I have been lucky enough to travel a lot, meet people from many different cultures and have grown up in a multicultural family. I think I can offer good conversation, good stories and willingness to create new stories by meeting new places with new people.
