ABOUT ME

I am a 4th year English Literature student at the University of Glasgow. Due to studying for my finals I am finding it harder than normal to find time to host - but I try my best :) I come as part of a package...my good friend and partner in crime, Davina. Together we will be traveling when we can and although she does not live with me, she will be helping to host also.

We hope we will become good guests and help show people that couch surfing is awesome! And we would love to host whenever we can in Glasgow and help all those traveling on a budget and show them Glasgow's best bits.

Davina and I are pretty much one in the same and we both enjoy reading, photography, music, films, sports (I like to do, Davina likes to watch). We will both try anything once and there are way too many things to mention, but hopefully we will both be able to fill you in on our shenanigans face-to-face!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Between us we will pretty much watch anything. We particularly enjoy a night in with some comedies, recently, 'The Hangover' and 'Zohan'. Can't go wrong with some action for me and Davina enjoys a good horror film (despite the fact that she has a heart attack during every one!)

I reckon we cover all the bases with music too...
I will listen to anything from, The Fratellis, & killers to Pete and the Pirates , and of course Dolly Parton...
Davina has the most random play list ever...Runrig to Rage Against the Machine...odd. :)

We love books. Way too many to list in this tiny wee space.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Oktoberfest - amazing. Danced on tables with about 5000 Germans.

Sunset over the Brandenburg Gates - so much history.

Took in some amazing views in the Mountains in Southern Norway - it was like a scene from a Christmas card - beautiful and peaceful with snow like we'd never seen before.

Jumped from the top of a house, face-first, into some fluffy snow in Norway.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

We can teach and share our knowledge of Glasgow's best nightlife, landmarks and activities. We would hope that we can show you all the best bits no matter what your interests. One thing in particular you might find interesting while visiting Scotland is about Scottish Gaelic, of which Davina is a fluent speaker...so maybe you could learn a few phrases! We want to learn everything...!
