Présentation
À propos de moi
Olá! I’m a 30-year-old Brazilian woman currently living in São Paulo. I grew up in Côte d'Ivoire and studied in Switzerland, so I've always been surrounded by different cultures and languages — which probably explains why I’m so passionate about communication, people, and learning.
I work as a language teacher (French, Portuguese, and English) and love connecting with people from all walks of life. Whether it’s through deep conversations, shared meals, or wandering around a new city, I’m always seeking authentic human moments.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I’ve always loved Rio. Over the years, I’ve been there many times — for Carnaval, New Year’s, even for work. But this time, I just want to go without a specific reason. No big event, no agenda — just the desire to experience what it’s like to live in Rio, even if just for a short while.
I’m hoping to see the city through a more local lens, meet new people, have meaningful (or fun!) conversations, and unwind a bit from the rhythm of life in São Paulo. Couchsurfing feels like the best way to do that — sharing space, culture, and stories.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
🎶 Music: I listen to a bit of everything — amapiano, house, electro, indie, pop, and of course, lots of "brasilidades" in general. Music is a huge part of my daily mood and I love discovering new sounds.
🎬 Movies & Series: I’m definitely a thriller fan — movies like Carry-On or The Menu always get my attention. But I also love a good comedy! Recently enjoyed The Consultant (series) and Blame the Game (film). Lately, I’ve been into shorter series and White Lotus has been my absolute favorite. Actually, now that I think of it, maybe the very first thrillers I ever watched were cartoons like Courage the Cowardly Dog — I was totally obsessed as a kid!
📚 Books: I haven’t read much lately, but one book that really stuck with me is Sombres Citrouilles by Malika Ferdjoukh — I read it in school over 15 years ago and still remember the suspense and mysterious vibe. It's probably the first thriller (if you can call it that) that really pulled me in and les 10 petits nègres d'Agatha Christie.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I moved to Switzerland for university and fully embraced the Swiss way of life. I learned to be punctual (which is very different from Brazilian culture 😅), developed a deeper connection with nature, and made amazing friends who became like family.
One of the highlights of my time there was being part of ESN (Erasmus Student Network), where I helped organize events for international students — from boat parties to city tours. That experience really deepened my love for meeting people from all over the world, hearing their stories, and creating shared memories. It’s something that has stayed with me ever since.
