Grew up on the island of Jamaica. Lived in Alberta, Canada for 10 yrs and currently live and work in Toronto. I love children, my first job ever was at a children's orphanage when I was 17. Since then I've worked with children in various capacities, whether volunteering or through my job as a caregiver with different families. I also have a love for traveling and though I haven't done a great deal of traveling, I enjoy reading about traveling and different countries etc. I am currently fascinated with anything to do with Israel, reading countless articles and watching as many videos about the country and it's people. I love singing, journaling, photography, I love to laugh so I love stand-up comedy, Scrapbooking, nature/outdoors, sunrise, sunsets, the ocean, I love the beautiful colours of fall and the excitement of spring, I love meeting people and sharing experiences.

I was researching ways to meet and connect with locals on a recent trip to Israel and came across this site and decided to give it a try. I'm all for experiencing and sharing in different cultures and welcome the opportunity to meet different people. Aside from the financial relief that hosting or surfing provides it's a refreshing way of connecting with people you wouldn't normally meet.
