I'm a pretty laid back halfbreed(my mother is Chilean and my father French Canadian) on top of being a complete music nerd and cinema buff. I'm not saying my taste in music is "good", but it certainly is thorough. I am very open to any suggestions about either music or cinema and I am very fond of discovering new interests and meeting fellow travelers. I love what I am currently studying, although it doesn't care much for me. I was on exchange in Vienna at the TU Wien, though I am usually based in Montreal, Canada.

Also: I'm known to laugh very easily -- especially at terrible puns... I'm so sorry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was on exchange abroad in Vienna for a semester coming all the way from Montreal with the aim to travel as much as I could and to return the favour by hosting as much as time will allowed me. I came back to Montreal in late August 2015 and looking to travel more through North America. Caught the travelling bug!

OK guys.. I can't name all my favourite music on here, that's insane. This is a pretty good start, I guess: http://8tracks.com/pamela-blancogirard . Although I am interested in pretty much everything from 80s New Wave, 90s Britpop and Grunge, Ska, Reggae, "What Eurocentrists dub as "World Music"(lol)", Electro, Electropop, Electroswing, Electro Gypsy Balkan(I know, right?), Minimalist Ambient(think Kraftwerk and Conrad Schnitzler), Indie Rock/pop/electro, Dreampop, Witch House, Classical(Romantique, Baroque), Classic Rock, Queens of pop, thanks a lot. I will say this though: My favourite band is Belle & Sebastian.
Movies.... everything from the 1920s until today. That's as selective as I go. Sound or silent I'm not picky. And I'm always open to new ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wellp. I used to lead a fairly quiet life.... until I embarked myself on that complete adventure of an exchange. I HAVE STORIES!! And I would be more than glad to share them with anyone! I was even told I should write a novel about them! You'll laugh, I guarantee it! Also: cows. I'll explain if you have interest!
