Overview
About Me
PLEASE NOTE: I don't host people who don't have references on CouchSurfing. I can potentially meet up for a drink or show you around Columbus, but I require prior references for you to stay with me.
ME: I am a vegetarian and wear mainly black clothes. I like gothic things, but not horror. I laugh a lot because the world is absurd. I love cats! I used to speak French fairly well, but it has been many years, so I am out of practice.
CURRENT MISSION: Meet cool people and have fun. I really enjoy meeting people from other parts of the world.
PHILOSOPHY: The more I travel, the more I realize the capacity of my ignorance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
TRAVELING: I like experiencing other cultures with locals who know about non-touristy options. I would rather hang out with someone and learn about them than stay in a hostel or hotel.
HOSTING: I like meeting travelers in Columbus to show them around my city, learn about them, and learn about their culture. It feels good to give back to the community that gave me so many great experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
Camping next to an active volcano in Guatemala.
Fishing in a 10ft boat in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning from everyone, but especially those from other countries.
I can share information about Columbus and fun activities if you visit here. I grew up in the area.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to exchange travel stories and compare cultures. I am a tidy person, so I don't mind helping with things like doing the dishes.
