ABOUT ME

Well I am an easy going person, love to seek adventure, to try different cuisines, to speak new languages. I have traveled a bit, but the "itch" is never scratched! I love the outdoors, sports and exercise, music and dancing, and just relaxing and taking in the scenery. I can be a workaholic at times, a go-getter if you will, or completely chilled and relaxed about life; overall, I love to meet others, to talk about common interests, share stories, and to learn from others.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live each day with an open mind & a positive spirit. I enjoy being independent, and having the freedom to come and go as I please. Learning from others, discovering new lands and people, and having fun while doing it...this is true bliss!! I do like a little thrill here and there also!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have met some great people along the way through CS ....and have had some wonderful experiences thus far. I like hosting and believe I am a good host, helping others as much as I can so that their experience is enjoyable!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with couch surfing hosts in cities & villages, slept on the floor (with a mattress)& slept in my own room...have had the best of both I would say...but mostly, every host has been so very hospitable and kind, and I have learnt from them.

I grew up in northern Canada and witnessed the Northern Lights on several occasions, which are spectacular!

I have been a teacher for 11 years, working overseas; I have also worked as a personal trainer as I personally love to be active and exercise (but in a fun way!!)...I am trying to learn more languages, but currently speak Spanish (intermediate / high conversational), and English is my mother tongue. I want to sky dive in the future, continue traveling, and to be a great salsa / merengue / bachata dancer!!
