One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first couchsurfing experience. I was in Istanbul I was on my own. It was amazing. The city. Between orient and occident. It left me speechless and then turned me into a storyteller. This experience I won’t forget. And also my second couchsurfing experience. It was in New York. I received such a warm welcome as a stranger. So much love, care and joy. I came as a stranger and left as a friend. Really heartwarming and taught me what couchsurfing is about. And my latest couchsurfing experience, when I was a host for the first time on CS. And had these two amazing Russian girls from St. Petersburg at home who made bliny for me and brought me a Russian Police patch. One week later I meet this two girls again this time in St. Petersburg, Russia. We had such a lovely, heartwarming time together. They cooked me borschtsch and pelmeny and showed me so many beautiful spots in St. P. This was one of this experience I will never forget!

I have to say I am getting fed up with one-sentence-requests about a cheap sleeping place. I can mention you several hostels in Cologne where you can stay very cheap. This is not what CS is about. It is about getting to know people, cultures, differences and similarities. An exchange which makes both of us richer! For this reason I have a little quest for you which you have to solve first!
