Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though I haven't had any experience of it, I'm looking forward to hosting others or traveling as a couchsurfer. I enjoy traveling around and experiencing other cultures a lot. Besides, I also love sharing Taiwanese culture, especially Taiwanese cuisine, with others so that people will know Taiwan more. I can't wait to give it a try, hoping I have fun time going couchsurfing.

Interests

In my leisure time, I enjoy seeing movies. The types of movies include romances, comedies, and sci-fi. Sometimes I would see some horror movies WITHOUT ghosts. I am just so afraid of ghosts. If I watch a ghost movie, I dare not to stay at my dorm alone.

Also, I enjoy listening to pop music a lot. Normally, I listen to Chinese and English pop music. Though I cant sing those songs well, it wont stop my love for singing and listening. By the way, singing and taking a bath at the same time is the most stress-relieving thing in the world. Everyone should give it a try! It's a lot of fun!

I like to browse some forums, too. I can always get lots of useful information there. What attracts me most is that many people give their comments so I can see different viewpoints from different people, which is why I love to browse forums so much.

Lastly, I love acting so much. I have several amateur experiences of acting. When acting, I can express myself in a way that is quite different from what I normally am. I really get a kick out of it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pop music, and among so many pop singers, I love Khalil Fong's best. Close to you and Xiao xiao chong are my favorite songs from Fong. I love Sam Smith, too. His voice is beyond description. His Lay Me Down is soooooo great. I love it a lot.

My favorite movies are respectively The Mummy and Interstellar. Actually, I love The Mummy and all of its sequels. They are just so funny and exciting. I've watched them for sooooo many times. As for Interstellar, I have to say that its special effects are great and beautiful. The plot is also touching, making me cry every time I watch it.

The book I like best is Hunger Games 1. It's an outstanding novel, very compelling!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I love my country, Taiwan, a lot, I would love to introduce it to the hosts so that hosts might have a glimpse into this small but cute country. Apart from that, I can share my traveling experiences with the hosts. Though I haven't been to a lot of countries, I am still into traveling and always learn a lot and experience special cultures. I also love listening to others sharing their own experiences. Therefore, I think it would be a lot of fun for me and the host to have a nice chat.

Besides, I am willing to teach hosts Chinese and Taiwanese. If the hosts are interested in Asia culture and the two languages mentioned above, I will definitely share with the host as much as possible.

At last, I will write a postcard to the host to show my appreciation. The postcards are from the places I've been to. I love buying postcards and I think sharing those postcards with others is interesting.
