ABOUT ME

I work in Compliance and plan to qualify as a lawyer in two or three years. This sounds awfully dull(which it is), but I like to tell others that I had worked as a chef for a year. I love cooking.

Above all else, I love life, because life is wonderful. I cherish my friends and family, good food and drinks, music and arts. And I view work and sports is essential to good life. I love every part of it and I wouldn't want to give up any of them.

I was borne and bred in HK. HK is my homeland. My second home is in Nottingham(UK), where I lived for 4 years while studying there and that's also where Robin Hood came from.

I came home with a mission to do something useful, something good in HK. I like to do volunteering work, and look for opportunity to serve the community, even though I am not doing nearly as much as I want.

I used to travel a lot. Now having settled down I confine my travel to local daytrips and short breaks in China.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first encounter was not with CS but hospitality club, where I was awaken by this kind-hearted young lady while sleeping on the street of Tallin at night. She introduced me to that organisation which is later surpassed in size by CS. I have since couchsurf (via HC or the cyclist equivalent Warmshower) maybe 5 or 6 times and met many kind people and made friends.
