About Me
ABOUT ME - If you don't get a response here please visit my Trustrootz profile @pandoraintheworld. We're not in London anymore since we moved to Machynlleth in Wales.
CURRENTLY TRAVELLING till 15/12 in Bayonne, Brussels, Den Haag, Den Bosch, Aix, but might be able to help you find a couch in Machynlleth
Currently studying a masters about climate justice at Centre of Alternative Technology in Machynlleth. I am a singer-song writer and perform/curate living room concerts. I am a mother to two beautiful children (19 and 27). Tino (19) lives with me and Janis (27) lives in Australia. I work as an interpreter / translator, and sometimes teach yoga.
My music schtuff: www.soundcloud.com/pandorasdiary
I love travelling and performing in different places around the world - meeting beautiful people and making music together - We can gig swap too!
I'm always looking for new places to play - living rooms, hippy festivals and intimate venues.. and people to collab with...
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
...And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."
Marianne Williamson
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love hosting- it's a wonderful experience when the other person embraces the spirit of sharing conversations, a house, their experience, cooking together, making food together.
I have met lots of really interesting people through CS, and made some good friends too.
I like to meet other csers, especially other families and musicians.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had one member of hospitality club stay. In one short day, they inspired me to want to do more hosting and become a guest myself. Why?
When we host, we can see our own living area with new eyes.
Since that time, we have hosted and been hosted. Both experiences are unique and wonderful. I have met many wonderful, good, kind people. As one CS member said at a meeting: "It restores my trust in humanity" Indeed it has.
CS saved me and my kid's life when I got stuck in Malaysia with very little cash- since then I've been giving back.
