I am new to the site, so my experience is limited, but I dig the idea and want to be a part of it.

Interests

Language is the most interesting thing in the world. I love learning them and overcoming them (Japan has made me a master of body language). Travel is another big interest, but so is sitting at home with a book and a beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lolita is the only perfect book in existence, but I prefer things along the lines of Murakami, Zadie Smith, and the classics. Favorite movies include Bread and Tulips, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Monster.

Music? Joni Mitchell, Bjork, Belle and Sebastian, Bossa nova, Portishead, Royksopp and, yes... JPOP
