ABOUT ME

My life has been medical school for the last 4 years but I've managed to really enjoy living in Oregon and fitting in a few trips. Currently, I'm devoting free time to language school in order to become fluent in Spanish by 1 year from now. I spend my free time exercising, gardening in our community garden plot and once I graduate, I hope to get out and get more involved in my community.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been hosting in a while but my new roomie and i are talking about doing it again when we're both going to be around. Soon!

I love to show people around, both in and out of Portland, but its also fine if they prefer to just come and go. When I stay with people, I like staying for a night or two and making a meal for my hosts if I have the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a wonderful couple in Christchurch New Zealand and a nice lady in Sydney. My ex-partner and I hosted a couple gals from USA, a fellow from the Netherlands, and a gal from Finland.

Last summer I was blessed with 2 amazing travelers from CS. They usually are.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Huanya Potosi in Bolivia , an almost 20,000 ft peak (5000 m?).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anyone how to knit! I've taught 3 friends how to snowboard. I know a little about local NW plant identification.
