我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Frankly speaking, traveling and visiting as many cities on earth as possible is a major goal I set myself in life. Couchsurfing would help me reach this goal someday, not just being a tourist, but having a genuine experience, meeting amazing new people all over the world and making friends.

兴趣

I'm more of a city person (not a camping/nature lover), but I admire mountains. High or low, they take my breath away. Never gone hiking, but really want to someday.

I LOVE DOGS! If I see a dog (mostly smaller ones), I even may start sobbing out of will to pet it.

I can spend hours in museums. Any museums, especially natural history/polytechnic/fine arts. It's always entertaining going to local not-well-known and specific museums like Museum of urban lighting etc.

My husband Vlad, who I travel with, is passionate about world and Russian history, architecture, art, music, cycling and is a beer lover. I must mention I do too like beer, especially IPA and APA, but I'll be even happier to share some white wine or a White Russian.

Over the years I realized I enjoy most kinds of music (except techno. no techno, please).

TV shows:
Mr. Robot, GoT, Friends, Taboo, Stranger Things

Books:
I mostly read so called 'classical' literature.
I love all of F. Scott Fitzgerald (but especially 'Tender Is The Night'), Truman Capote (esp. 'In Cold Blood'), Mikhail Bulgakov (esp. biographical 'Young Doctor's Notebook'), I also like Lovecraft and Bradbury, Hamingway and Tolstoy, Pelevin (esp. 'Empire V'), Garcia Marquez (esp. 'Love in the Time of Cholera'), Flaubert and Harry Potter of course :))

Movies:
Very hard to highlight something - I enjoy both movies like 'Prometheus' and 'King's speech', Miyazaki's and Woody Allen's works, Wes Anderson and David Fincher, all dramatic roles of Jim Carrey (esp. 'The Truman Show',' Majestic', 'Eternal Sunshine...' etc. and even 'I Love You Phillip Morris'!). I absolutely love movies like 'In Bruges' and 'Seven psychopaths'. Recent 'Captain Fantastic' was amazing in my point of view. Apart from that I love watching european movies, less known but beautifully directed&with a catchy plot and would definitely appreciate any tips on what to watch next.
