Hi there! I'm Kara, living in Warsaw since I was born. I'm a photographer for a music magazine - a job that I truly admire. Additionaly I work from 9 to 5 for an international company and that allows me to pay my bills and/or travel around the world ;)
I'm quite straightforward and open-minded and as a typical Gemini I love discussing about everything (maybe except politics).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I usually stayed in hostels, but at some point I thought it would be much better to meet locals and see how an every day life in a specific city/country looks like - something I am not able to see in the hostel ;)
So far I've used couchsurfing while travelling to Sweden, Finland and Latvia and have been hosted by fantastic people but this year my travelling plans are huge, so I'll surely invide someone's couch! Be aware!! :D

I especially love harder sounds - rock and metal - but I also admire 80's and early 90's :)

I love reading books (especially criminal books and good biographies). In January I visited a place where Harry Hole lived :P

I love movies with Alan Rickman, whom I absolutely adore. It's quite difficult to say what kind of movies I like, as the genres are quite mixed - for instance I love Dead Poets Society, Matrix, Leon, The Shawshank Redemption, The Imaginarium of dr. Parnassus, Sin City, 6th Sense, Dogma...and Inception was really good!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm not sure if it's amazing or rather foolish - some time ago I was in Finland. It was November, we went to sauna at the lake Bodom and after sauna me and other guys went swimming in the lake. The lake was half frozen, we couldn't breathe and I suspect I got a termal shock back then ;) But we were so excited that we did it a couple of times more ;)))
