ABOUT ME

I believe in finding new perspectives in life. Want to travel across world and meet new people. A motorcyclist, conversationalist, dreamer and a cinephile. Watch a lot of movies and directors like Almodavar, Kieslowksi, Daardene Brothers, Thomas Vinterberg, Michael Hanke, Fatih Akin, Julio Medem, Richard Linklater, Abdellatif Kechiche, François Ozon are my favorites. I am a free-thinker, social-able and easy to talk to. Currently living my dream of studying cinema in Paris.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be a good host and learn from people whom I host about cultures, languages and their experience. I try to make my Couchsurfers feel me as their co-traveler.

I also try to show surfers the city (when I have time) and have a lot of good conversations!

When I surf, I try to be a good listener and share my traveling experience. I sometimes cook Indian food, help with the household works and try to make another lifelong friend!

Each and every Couchsurfer I met/hosted/surfed, has affected my life in someway positive! And yes, I still believe that there still many friends in other side of the world with whom I am yet to meet :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Walked the “El Camino de Santiago “ in June 2019

- Did a roadtrip in a car with my friend across Europe while doing only "Camping Sauvage" in 2020

- Did a 5000 kms road-trip on my motorbike across East and South India (Chennai-Kanyakumari-Kolkata) covering 19 cities, 6 states in 47 days during March - May 2017 : https://youtu.be/XUG6wUJNnh0

- Traveled 4000 kms from Kashmir to Kolkata on my motorbike during September-October 2014 : https://youtu.be/-h1aXkJ_bpM

- Traveled 3000 kms from Kolkata to Kathmandu across Himalayas and back on my motorbike during June-July 2015.

- Trekked the Pyrenees in 2020

- Volunteering in Nepal for earthquake victims for 1 month.

- Skiing in the Alps.

- Backpacking in Europe during shivering cold.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any knowledge that I have. For instance, languages which I know, a card game called "Cambio", recipes of Indian food and how to cook them, and if you are a cinephile, I can share some films from my collection! :D

I am a good listener. There is lot to learn from everybody. I believe that knowledge when shared adds a lot to the people in the conversation. I am interested in learning more about arts, making movies and foreign languages.

Memories, Laughter, Experiences, Stories, Good Conversations and Friendship are some of the things which I love to share.
