PHILOSOPHY

Let me tell you a little story.

Thomas Edison at his age was considered from his other colleagues a silly and stupid inventor who tried to make an electric bulb work. He was very persistent and dedicated to what he did. He made two thousand fruitless attempts to lit up the bulb.
So when his colleagues and friends asked him
"Why dont you give up? all your efforts are unsuccesful!"
His reply to them was "None of my attempts were unsuccesful. Now i know two thousand ways that a light bulb cant give light"
He kept on and he finally did it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First of all i want to say that CS is above all an idea. Friendship, Innocence, Cultural exchange are some of the characteristics of CS. It already has an impact in my life and it will keep having it as time goes by...

As my best Norwegian CS friend said "IF YOU CANT COME TO THE WORLD, LET THE WORLD COME TO YOU"

And this is what CS does....brings the world in front of my doorstep! Thats why i love it so much!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Flown to Vienna for a few hours just to watch
La Traviata at the state opera house and returned the next morning.

----Road trip to Norway!----Oh My God! What a trip!

Done rehearsal with drums in absolute darkness. It really made me feel part of the band and part of the team.

Marched with F.C Barcelona fans at Camp Nou in BCN on Good Saturday having great great great fun!!I am not aware of football but i found myself having a parade with the fans of the team suddenly and out of the blue!

Stacked for 36 hours at Heathrow Airport in London. This experience makes me seriously think of writing a guide of how to survive in the airports. I even had a "shower" at the airport bathroom. You wanna know how? Just ask :):):):)
