About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Still trying to figure out child saftey devices

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty decent person, as far as people go. I spend too much of my time in NYC trying decipher why I spend so much time there. The world is full of such conundrums.

I do love to travel as much as possible though. I dislike tourism in any form, hence I prefer to connect with the places I pass through in a more direct manner. This site is wonderful for this, as you can meet people who live in the places you are trying to learn from- which of course creates the possibility of having a deeper understanding of wherever you may be.

Beyond that, I really hate filling out forms that are supposed to condense one's existence into a sentence.

So there!

PHILOSOPHY

Egalitarian individualist with a shoe collection that rivals Imelda Marcos'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to let people stay at my apartment, from time to time. I have hosted several people since joining, and have had some interesting times meeting people on their journey. Have had good experiences as a guest as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some really kind & interesting people through this site. It is truly a good thing to go into an unknown place & be shown around by a fellow vagabond.

Interests

Nature, social structures, being an itinerant thinker, learning, art, film, adventure, connecting with a variety of cultures, leaping about in concentric circles ad nauseum.

Cooperative living; direct-democracy; worker-controlled workplaces; Not reducing human beings to "workers"

Freedom. Lots of it.

Literature & film & random provocative acts.

I really like to garden. Bloody Zen, it is.
