Hi! My name is Paola, I’m from Bolivia 🌎. I’m an architect by profession and currently work remotely, which gives me the chance to explore and spend time in different places.

I lived for a while in Izmir during my university years, and I completely fell in love with Turkey, its people, culture, food, and energy. Since then, I’ve always dreamed of coming back, and now I’m finally planning to make it happen. My idea is to return around November and, with my visa, stay the first 3 months while applying for a longer permit so I can enjoy and learn even more from the country.

At the moment, I’m organizing everything: budget, where to stay, and how to settle in. For the beginning, I’d love to find a safe and welcoming place for at least the first week until I figure out longer-term options. That’s why I'm back at Couchsurfing, I think it’s a wonderful way to connect with kind people, especially women, who might guide me or share some advice.

I’m friendly, respectful, and curious, and I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning from different cultures. Any help, tips, or guidance would mean a lot to me!
