About Me

I'm a young fellow who decided to leave home after the high school to see the "real"world and because he was fed up with the easy-life: stay at home with someone looking after you, study and study and never learn something.

So I took a flight 9 months ago to New Zealand, and now I'm on my way back, passing trough Australia and Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, Singapore, Turkey (just 1 day), Prague and, maybe, Wien with my backpack of experiences that's growing and growing and growing, but at least I'm making some muscles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way for travel and discover really a place and "feel" it is to meet local people and share a bit of life, became friend maybe and keep contact, why not.
And because I love travelling, I love to met nice people while travelling, and I think the idea of couchsurfing is just great, simple and genial, since now I have only a good experience.

Interests

Cinema and Theatre, I did a course and is an art that I would like to keep on in my life.
Cooking and eating, that's important in order survive but also I like to cook as well as I can in order to survive better. Leftovers recycling is a speciality.
I like to share a chat, tales, opinions, a glass of wine or a pint.
Some wide interests that concern in general human beings and behaviors for say it shortly, or i could say anthropology, philosophy also.
I like to do a lot of stuff on my own, that means suing or make soap, and learn about do knew stuff that are useful in the "little questions of every day of life".

Ah how to forget travelling. I love it. Is like dancing, you have to be swift and good with improvisation, and the dance-floor is a melting of light and people and customes, and craziness of the most different kinds. It's a wonderful world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz (Paolo Conte), Electro Jazz (Parov Stelar, Caravan Palace), Ska music, rock, progressive rock (Pink Floyd) and light rock sometimes, a selection of italian songs, and Rap, and sometimes also pop-rap from other country (france-spain-england-america).
I use to listen to Classical music just if I'm in the good mood for it (expecially Beethoven, Mozart's Requiem in D minor, Chopin)
I like cinema and theatre in general.
some cornerstones for me are: Tarantino, Kubrick, Woody Allen.
Movies with Sean Penn or Marcello Mastroianni.
Comic movies when i just want to laugh a bit.
I like to read a lot of different kind of stuff, from novels to essays, poems. actually I would say in my favorite authors Umberto Saba.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking on the Mount Egmont/ Taranaki in New Zealand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to cook some really italian stuff- as a pizza if there is enough time- and share a good meal anyway, and I can share food in general.
I can teach Italian and a bit of spanish.
We can share a movie, and probably I can send you or advice you a good movie (Italian or not) when I know the kind you like.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food and a good cooked meal; a bottle of wine maybe; some music and movies that I have with me and, by the way, a chat about the weather (that's a joke, we can also talk about something else, I hope).

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, Vatican City State
