Overview
About Me
I love to travel and meet new people. Right now, I'm still in school working on a BA in Political Science. I can get along with just about anyone, and I'm always ready to try something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Staying with locals is the best way to really get to know a place. My kind of travelling involves living as a local lives, and skipping most of the tourist traps.
Interests
I love to read non-fiction books, especially US history. Craft beer is a big hobby for me as well. I love going to new breweries and trying the local hits.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music is all over the place. Currently I'm listening to Foster the People, Coast Modern, Portugal. The Man, and Whitney. Though this will probably change in a week.
As far as movies go, like pretty much anything. Lately I've been watching a lot of documentaries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went backpacking through Europe last summer. I'm sure that's a fairly standard answer on this site, but personally I thought it was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning, so if you speak, I will listen. I enjoy teaching as well. There's something great about breaking down a complex subject so that anyone can understand it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
1. I'm always up for anything. I mean that.
2. I'm not the kind of person who will stay with you and then never contact you again. I have friends half way across the globe that I still talk to everyday.
3. I will gladly help out around the house. Nothing is free.
