Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

To keep on being awesome.

ABOUT ME

All about me? Wow, there aren't enough space to include EVERYTHING about me, but I'll try.

I'm a very social person, I laugh and smile a lot, and I know how to have fun. I get along with almost everyone, because I (usually) like every person I meet, if they're not total butthats towards me. So with me there will be no awkward silences, because I've been told that I sometimes talk too much. I love to meet new people and I know everyone says that, but I could spend a whole evening talking with a total stranger if we really hit it off. I've done that many times and it always sucks when it's time to go home. I've met amazing people both online and offline, and I have friends who I've actually met in Omegle. I love to talk about anything - political stuff, deep, meaningful stuff or just plain chitchat about anything and everything. My favourite evening would consist of good wine, good friends, good food and interesting things to talk, argue and discuss about. When I couchsurf, more than anything I am looking forward to making friends that I can talk with after I've come back home. I want to keep in touch and if you offer me a sofa to sleep on, I will most definitely return the favour if you ever want to visit Finland!

I love to try out new things, like for example I've never tried golfing and I'm still waiting for someone to try it with me. I want to do crazy, spontaneous things so when I'm old, I will not have anything to regret. I love, love to travel and I wish to go around the world one day. I want to stay optimistic even though at times it's hard; I think that if you keep your head up high, stay positive and try to make the best out of even the worst, life will be the best it can be. I dislike negative people, because they have the tendency to bring everyone's spirits down. I am a shoulder to cry on for my friends, always will be, but it's different to have a broken heart than to be just plain negative and complain about everything. I also dislike sexist, racist and hateful jokes and people, so if you think "women should be in the kitchen", you will not get along with me. I keep my mind open for everything, be it music or opinions on religion, and I don't judge people - as long as they understand that there are different opinions, and theirs might not be the only one or the absolute truth. I don't mind if you hate classical music or cats, as long as you don't mind that I love those things. I also love tea, so if a cup of good tea on a rainy day makes you happy - I think I like you already!

I love many things - books, dragons, movies, cats, summer, decorating my apartment, music, Asian food, cooking, traveling (duh!), French, Japanese, my English professors, learning new fun things, going out with friends, jogging, yoga, rain, garlic on my pizza, saving the world with one good thought at a time, sleeping, dreaming, fleamarkets (I don't shop that much anywhere else), my favourite jeans... The list goes on and I think it's better to get to know me in order to learn what I love than if I list them all here and they make no sense and no one will even remember them.

It's not always easy to learn to know people, we all hold so many secrets and sometimes it takes us more time to learn to trust someone than it usually would, but I really think it's worth it, even with all the trouble. I might not be the most interesting person on this planet (but I mean... who is?) but I'm fun, trusting and easy to trust to. If you think I'm worth to get to know to, send me a message or have a cup of delicious tea with me!

PHILOSOPHY

"When life gives you lemons, call me and I'll come over with the tequila".

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you travel in Finland (especially in Vaasa), I am more than glad to show you around and take you to meet my friends, even if I cannot host you. I want to show you the best sides of this city so in the future you might want to come here again. I know Vaasa isn't the most popular place among travellers, but that's what I try to do - make it more interesting! If one person likes Vaasa, s/he will tell about it to her/his friends and then they might want to come here too. And then they can always drop me a message if they want to meet someone who knows this place by heart.

Intereses

I have so, so many interests I don't know where to begin. I love reading, a good book can really make me forget the whole outside world... movies, traveling, tea, British humour, cats, yoga, music, good food, wines (especially red ones), cooking, languages (French, English, Japanese...), learning new things, philosophy, photography, art, Asian food, Japanese culture, having conversations with people I've just met...
