About Me

I am a translator and local tour guide based in Herat, Afghanistan. I speak English, Dari, and Pashto. I help tourists with translation, local guidance, and cultural experiences. Reliable, friendly, and professional.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and practicing my English. I live in Herat, Afghanistan, and I would like to help travelers explore my city, learn about Afghan history, and experience local traditions.

I am not here only for hosting or staying, but mostly for cultural exchange, friendship, and guiding visitors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled alone to another city for the first time and discovered how amazing it is to meet people from different cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Herat is one of the most beautiful historic cities in Afghanistan. If you visit, I recommend:
• Herat Citadel (Qala Ikhtiyaruddin) – the ancient fortress with a great view of the city.
• Friday Mosque (Masjid Jame Herat) – one of the most beautiful mosques with amazing tile work.
• Herat Minarets – the impressive remains of a great madrasa.
• Old Bazaar – a lively place full of local handicrafts, spices, and Afghan culture.

I can show travelers around these places, help with translation (English ↔ Dari), and share stories about Afghan traditions, food, and daily life.
