My name is Parker and I'm 26 years old. I just finished my second season as a raft guide in Colorado. I love anything involving the outdoors and travel. I try to take a big trip each year after I finish my seasonal job and have been working towards slowing down the way I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be biking from Atlanta, Ga through Central America. Since I'm self powering my trip, I will have more opportunities to stop more along the way. I want to use these stops to meet as many people as I can and truly experience the area. I'm also trying to save money so I can reach my goal of biking to Panama.

For music, I'm mostly drawn to alternative rock but I love discovering new music from all genres. I've recently gotten into a lot of bluegrass and folk music as well. If I had to choose one band as my favorite it would be Wilco.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent the last two years either living out of my car as a raft guide or traveling. Not having a permanent home has given me the freedom to explore and meet amazing people.
